- Theres a lot of good clip art out there in 72 dots-per-inch
- format. It worked well on our old 72 dpi ImageWriters, but
- weve become somewhat snobbish now that there are relatively
- inexpensive printers available that use resoultions of 300
- dpi and above. Sure, there are tricks that you can use to
- get those old Paint files to look good on higher resolution
- printers. By reducing the size of a given graphic in a word
- processor or a page layout program, it appeared to get
- higher in resolution as it got smaller in scale. There are
- even magic scaling amounts that can get the best resu
